FAQs
View FAQ page Is the eRACK™ really maintenance free?
Yes.  Users should, though, regularly inspect fasteners because road vibrations may cause them to
loosen over time.

Does the bearing assembly require periodic lubrication?
No.  The bearing is sealed.  And, each bearing contains a proprietary grease to ensure smooth operation in extremely hot or cold environments.

Will an aerial unit mounted on the roof of a van clear the eRACK™?
Yes.  We worked closely with the largest aerial unit manufacturers to ensure that the aerial boom will rotate 360° and completely clear both the ladder and our ladder rack.

Does the eRACK™ work on high-roof vehicles?
Yes.  Please contact info@erackusa.com  for more information.

Will activating the eRACK™ interfere with the operation of rear doors or barn/sliding doors on the passenger-side of vehicles?
Assuming the installation directions are followed properly, there should be no interference.

How long does it take to order replacement parts?
We stock all of our parts in South Houston, TX, so we will generally ship out replacements within 24-hours.  We strive for same-day shipping if given enough time...view parts list

Is your product made in the United States?
Yes.  In strict accordance with the "Made In USA" definition provided by the Federal Trade Commission.  Each eRACK is made in the U.S.  Operations that we either do ourselves or outsource to local companies include fabrication, stamping, cutting, grinding, cleaning, and powered-coating.

What is your product warranty?
The eRACK is warranted to the original owner for a period of one year from the date of delivery or original purchase date, whichever is sooner.  Defects in manufacture will be repaired or replaced at our option.

This one-year warranty does not cover normal wear and tear nor does it cover damage to the product related to misuse, accident, improper installation, abuse, alterations, or intentional damage.
